Spot Seabirds on the Scenic Olympic Peninsula

Auklets, Murrelets, Grebes, and More!

9AM

No experience is required to join us for this adventurous birding program at three different locations on the North Olympic Peninsula. Feel free to join for just one or two days, or join for all three and get $100 off per person.

  • Port Angeles (April 12): See a diversity of sea birds diving deep for fish in the Strait of Juan De Fuca. Paddle a wild stretch of coastline with soaring cliffs, tranquil coves and views of Canada.

  • Sequim (April 19): Paddle a productive estuary famous for supporting migrating birds and gulls, where the Dungeness River meets the Strait of Juan de Fuca. A recently completed restoration project has further improved the marine habitat.

  • Port Ludlow (April 26): View different ducks and other sea birds taking shelter in the secluded Mats Mats bay. Paddle into the Puget Sound to see views of the Cascades, exposed rocks populated by nesting cormorants, and more.
